Black Rock Dreams is a prestigious up-market development at the Black Rock end of Grafton Beach in Stonehaven Bay. The building comprises of eight 3-bedroom condominiums on two levels. The four villa-apartment units at either end of the building are particularly spacious, light and desirable. We recommend three of these units. The fourth is now in private hands and no longer available for rental.
The stunning beach-front location, superb facilities and high levels of accommodation put these units firmly in the upper tier of Tobago holiday accommodation. We describe Black Rock Dreams as villa-apartments because these luxurious accommodations are in many ways more suited to holidaymakers who would normally be considering a holiday rental villa.

Black Rock Dreams is Tobago's most elegant and upscale holiday development. Located directly beside one of the most stunning beaches on the island, Black Rock Dreams has been described as the most beautiful building on the island. It boasts a large free-form swimming pool set in lush colourful tropical gardens with direct access onto the beach, a resident property manager, high levels of internal and external security and a discrete underground car park. The small complex is home to eight privately-owned luxury serviced condominiums offering villa-class standards of accommodation.
We have stayed at, and reviewed, four of the largest villa-apartments at Black Rock Dreams. These four villa-apartments are similar, but vary marginally in terms of size, accommodation, decor and other detail.

Our first visit to Black Rock Dreams was in March 2011, when we spent a week at the wonderful Mahi Mahi Suite. The stunning beachside location and superbly comfortable accommodation persuaded us that this villa apartment possibly offered an almost unrivalled combination of features that would be of interest to anyone seeking upscale holiday/vacation accommodation on Tobago.
There are remarkably few rental properties on Tobago that can genuinely be described as 'beachfront'. Such properties are always in high demand, particularly during the peak winter months. So, we decided that it was our duty to offer visitors a wider choice. Consequently, we spent a further two weeks reviewing Chaconia Suite and Blue Marlin Suite. It's a hard life!
Although all three villa apartments are very similar, there are subtle variations in size, layout, decor, features and other factors. So, whilst the individual reviews are almost identical in many respects, it is important to read and compare each review in detail to determine those differences that might be significant to your holiday party.
