Guest Report - Orchid Villa Apartments

I stayed at Orchid Villa at the end of March this year and I must say that my stay there was very comfortable, relaxing and entertaining. I stayed with my boyfriend from Jamaica and my sister and her spouse for four nights.
The host, Ms. Elaine, was extremely great at her job. From airport pickup and drop off, to any advice necessary, entertaining chats at some times and even medicine for my boyfriend when I give him the flu, Ms. Elaine was very friendly and helpful at all times.
The apartment was very clean. The patio was my favourite place to just rock on the chair and talk enjoying the cool Tobago breeze (very clean and crisp compared to Trinidad). Her dogs gave guard and even play at times. All the utensils needed for a full meal were there and the bedrooms and bathroom are satisfactorily spacious.
We didnt have time, nor were we in the mood to hit any beaches but they were conveniently close. Otherwise the inviting pool, privately set in the back yard was another option for us.
Overall we loved staying at Orchid Villa and would definitely visit again during another stay in Tobago.

We stayed in these apartments in February this year. Great apartments clean and spacious in a beautiful garden Elaine is a great host and good cook and her two beautiful Rottweilers were frequent visitors.The apartments have one problem, is that they share a balcony which as we were the only ones there at the time it wasn't a problem but I have got to say if I would have had to have shared it would have spoit my holiday as we wouldn't have had any out side space of our own.
Perfect Romantic Getaway

I enjoyed every minute of my stay at the Orchid Villa Cottage. It was so great, that I was disappointed that I had to return home. It was really beyond my expectation. It's close to the airport and port, but still away from the main roads and highway, and easily accesible. It was just the right amount of piece and quiet that we were looking for. My boyfriend especially loved the pool. He loves to swim. Couldn't get enough of it. Elaine (owner) was a great host and so was her playful dog, Ashanti. Thanks Elaine and i will most definitely be returning for another stay there.
Wonderful Anniversary

We stayed at Orchid Cottage for a few days and they were the most delightful days. Orchid Cottage gave us exactly what we wanted to spend out 3rd anniversary together – it was well decorated, furnished with the appropriate amenties and very very private. The pool was only a few footsteps from our door and we couldn't ask for more.
Elaine and Ashanti were fine hosts indeed. Elaine even prepared a sumptous anniversary breakfast for us which was truly delicious. We would highly recommend the cottage to any couple wanting to celebrate a special moment, or who just want a real vacation away from home.

Promised Return Visit To Orchid Villa

We have just returned from Orchid Villa and once again have had a wonderful holiday with Elaine and Ashanti.
Since the last time we stayed with them the air conditioning has been installed which is a great improvement.And also the well designed swimming pool replacing the jacuzzi makes you even lazier,a swim and lay on one of the beds,who wants to go out to see the wonderful island!!
We hired a jeep from Sheppies for the two weeks and did get around to some of the places we love and also to some of the places we hadn't visited on previous hoidays to Tobago
We went over to Trinidad by plane for the day although we did see what we wanted to we perhaps should have stayed the night and seen more of Trini.
But getting back to Elaine and Ashanti,the welcome is still as good as ever,the Villa and gardens are delightful,the owls are still around together with lots of different birds eating off Elaine's feeders,including a woodpecker which we didn't see last time.
