On arrival the accommodation was attractive and colourful though seemed a little basic, particularly the washing facilities. However we soon settled in and enjoyed the charming easy laid back style. The staff were friendly and helpful.

My wife and I were just looking at traveling back to T & T and I realized that I had not provided any feedback regarding our last stay.
My wife's father was from Trinidad and we are fortunate enough to have family living there. I surprised her with a wedding in Tobago and thought it was fate that we found the Sherwood Park Apartments...the same name as where we live now!
We arrived in Trinidad in time for Carnival and after a long, rough ferry ride we finally made it to Tobago. We got married on the beach February 2007 and Nigel and his wife and staff went out of their way to assist us. The assistant manager assisted my wife with her hair on the big day and Nigel's wife even drove the bride to the beach.
We had a late wedding supper and Nigel had arranged for a taxi to pick us up and when it didn't show he got up at 1:30 am and picked us up.
We will be staying there whenever we are fortunate enough to visit the beautiful island!

Quite place, good and helpful staff (easy to rent a car, organize a tour or having information about places to visit), good accomodation (large room with facilities, no air conditioning but the fan was enough even in the wet season), not so far from the main center (we hired a car). Definitely to stay again.
Sherwood Park, Close Tobago Encounter!

The moment you arrive on Tobago everything is different, its almost like youre not allowed to worry about anything! From the airport you are driven to Sherwood Park, after a long journey a filled fridge is a great surprise! Sherwood Park is a perfect home base for anyone who wants to have a close encounter with Tobago. It starts with the Sherwood Park staff, friendly, helpfull and most important genuine. You really feel at home the moment you arrive. The central position of Sherwood Park makes it a perfect place to start your exploration of Tobago, just rent a car and start the adventure. Or just relax by the pool for a day or two.
My first visit to the Caribean was a true eye opener, especially thanks to my home base Sherwood Park. If you want to have a close encounter with the real Tobago Sherwood Park is the place to go!

We recently stayed in the Sherwood Park apartments and it was great!
We were with three girls and one large apartement was big enough for three of us! It is safe, clean and really nice area!
First, we had the idea to stay only one week at Sherwood, but after a few days, we came to the conclusion that we loved Sherwood: nice and helpfull staff, a great place to stay and a central place on the island. So we stayed almost 2 weeks in Sherwood!
Just rent a car at Sherwood and you will discover Tobago by yourselves! Or just ask for a taxi and the taxi will show you everything! Don't forget to catch a glimp of the turtles! It is an unique experience!
Nigel, the general manager, took even care about us to plan and to stay a couple of days in Trinidad!
