We stayed at Coco Reef for 2 weeks and we were absolutely delighted with the place. Our first trip to the Caribbean so we were a bit unsure but the whole time was wonderful. Tobago is all about the people who live and work there. They were charming good humoured and the staff at the hotel were all very friendly. Our room was decorated with flower petals, shapen towels and the beach boys were wonderful, serving us drinks on the beach with a friendly word and an endearing smile. Fantastic.

Coco Reef Spa and Resort is the most beautiful hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The staff are truly wonderful and cater to all your needs. The gardens are simply stunning and the private beach, well, what can I say?!

My only complaint (it isn't much of one), is that over the Easter week the hotel was filled to over capacity and because of the large number of children (not that that is a problem!), it was not really possible to use the lovely little swimming pool.

For tours, I would suggest using the hotel to book rather than your tour operator as they do not charge commission so every penny you pay is invested in the local businesses. It also means to get to meet more locals, definitely an opportunity not to be missed as they are warm, friendly and very inviting.

I first visited Tobago 15 years ago and although it has changed a little, none of the essence of the island has been lost and it was a genuine pleasure to return after such a long time. I would recommend Coco Reef to anyone but most of all, I would highly recommend a visit to Tobago. I can't wait until I return again!

Our stay in January was our 4th visit, and we are booked to return in January 2009 to celebrate our 5th wedding annivaersary. We visited Coco Reef on our 1st wedding anniversary and fell in love with it. We have made friends whom we stay in touch with and meet up each year. I hope that Cocoo Reef never loses it's magic. Eric always makes us welcome, as do the staff..........The only problem is though, the wardrobes make my clothes shrink!! (could be all the food and champagne I eat and drink????).....roll on January!!

In comparison to the other hotel we were first put in when we arrived, this place was wonderful. We had a very luxurious room with a fabulous view, the staff were very nice and the food was fine dining at its best. Our only complaint was that it was very, very expensive there, and we did object to being charged for a glass of water at dinner, which was poured out automatically and then later charged at a rate of about £3 a go.Best to go all inclusive if you can afford it. Beautiful gardens and very good evening entertainment. I would certainly recommend it.

A Very Relaxing Holiday

Sandie Starmer from U.K. visited in November 2007 and awarded  Three out of Five

This was our first visit to the CoCo Reef and to Tobago.

The Hotel is very comfortable and the service is excellent.

The beach at the CoCo Reef is certainly one of its best features.

The hotel staff are what makes a holiday here extra special. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always smiling and making sure that you are happy.

Our room was lovely and kept very clean by the twice daily cleaning service. I am not sure what catagory the room was but we had a little 'lounge' area and a partial sea view.

I dont think you could call this a luxury resort, but we enjoyed the overall service and standard of meals etc.

We would go back to this hotel if ever we were to return to Tobago, which I might add is the best caribean resort I have been to.
