Almost Perfect !!!
Bart Minten from Netherlands visited in January 2008 and awarded
18 ''almost'' perfect day's at Lippy Lodge. Nice villa, Gale does a good job, perfect area. They only forgot to tell us about the constuction work at 2 houses 10 meters away from the villa. It feld like we had to escape the villa for a quit and relaxing holliday. Some day's the satisfaction rating was far below expectation. But Tobago is fantastic island and with a good car to escape the construction noices we had after al a fantastic vacation.

Guest Report - Lippy Lodge
James Davidson from U.K. visited in December 2007 and awarded
The villa was excellent for everything. Gale well lets just say an asset from the beginning ( waited six hours on us arriving delayed flight )till the end of our stay. If in future we need a place I'm sure Lippy will be on our list.

Great Vacation Home!!!
Todd Shaw from U.S.A. visited in March 2007 and awarded
I stayed with some buddies of mine at the Lodge and had a blast. It is close to everything, is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of space for all of our guests. The surrounding neighborhood was safe and friendly, and we had a great time. I would suggest this rental to anyone coming to Tobago.

A Tiny Paradise On Earth
Len Gray from Canada visited in September 2006 and awarded
We are Trinidadians currently living in Ontario, Canada, and during a recent, late September visit to our native Trinidad & Tobago, reservations were made for a family vacation on our beautiful sister island – Tobago.
“Lippy Lodge” was the vacation villa of choice – a wonderfully-conceived resort facility, a mere three-minute drive from Crown Point Airport, and within easy reach of all of Tobago´s popular beaches. This quiet retreat offers a world of untold beauty and relaxation – a welcome departure from the hustle and bustle of daily living.
Upon arrival, impressive iron-clad gates gently swing open as if to embrace arriving guests. A smiling figure emerges out of the shadows of a giant shade tree, and we are all warmly welcomed by the lovely and personable Gale – property manager and attendant on call – a wonderful, caring personality and, without question, a true asset to Tobago´s tourist industry.
Immediately above us, and in plain sight, a tiny song-bird serenades us from his perch on an overhanging twig. In stunned amazement, our gaze takes us across the shimmering blue waters of the sun-bathed swimming pool and lingers awhile on its tiled circular deck, where soon we´ll bask in the warmth of a tropical sun or unwind and relax in the shade of an adjacent poolside bar.
Hammocks sway in the gentle tropical breezes and, across the beautifully-manicured grounds, a wonderful array of exotic plants and flowers dot the landscape. The sweet sounds of nature abound, and a sense of calm and tranquility descends.
Upstairs, double doors open to reveal the ambience of a spectacular living space. Fully-furnished bedrooms flank a spacious and well-equipped kitchen. A gently-curved serving counter doubles as a convenient sit-down bar where guests assemble to sample Tobago´s own “Curry Crab and Dumplin´”, or savour the delightful aroma of our famous “Crab and Callalloo”.
Coral art adorns the walls everywhere creating the illusion of an underwater adventure. Beyond the classic design of the living room, massive doors open onto a huge wrap-around balcony overlooking the grounds and the sleepy resort village of Bon Accord.
Suspended in mid-air, a beautiful little hummingbird sips nectar from its tiny feeder. Sweet memories of childhood splendour fill our hearts with joy, and life is “oh sooo good”.
We have since returned to our wintry Canadian existence, but the enchanting “Lippy Lodge” will remain forever etched in our collective memory as a tiny piece of “Paradise on Earth”.

Lippy Lodge Is Awesome!
Alison Wines from U.S.A. visited in August 2006 and awarded
I have been all over the Caribbean and by far, staying at Lippy Lodge in Tobago was my favorite trip! Other places I visited seemed like I had never left the states, but Tobago offered true island flavor! The villa is very spacious and accommodated our entire group very comfortably. The wrap around balcony is like a separate room, and we came off the beach everyday to eat a delicious meal of local dishes made by the housekeeper under the huge tree out there.
The setup downstairs is also perfect for families. There is an apartment with a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and the room where all the kids bunk together, as well as the laundry room – all right next to the pool. So you can keep throw wet clothes into the wash, hang towels on a clothes line, and make PB&J for the kids as they run around the huge yard. The lush surroundings make it very relaxing to soak in the pool, or you can lay in the hammock in the shade if you don't feel like going in. There is also a platform where the teenagers like to layout in the sun, and where we played charades at night. After the kids were in bed, the adults were able to mix cocktails at the pool bar and hang out while still keeping an ear out for the kids as they sleep (as compared to them being upstairs where you cannot hear them). This is way better than being trapped in a hotel room with them and trying to be quiet after they go to bed!
The villa is just very well thought out and you really feel all the comforts of home but in this very cool, tropical island setting. We just all really enjoyed our time spent there and highly recommend it, especially to large groups of adults with kids.
