Clean and spacious accommodation with a geat view over the harbour. A short walk from the centre of activity in Scarborough (supermarkets, restaurants etc.) and Ken and Allison were caring and informative hosts. The only improvement I would recommend is the provision of an electric kettle in the room.

Tobago generally is noisy, bustling, stunningly beautiful in part but I did notice a lot of litter and discarded large items (plastic bottles, broken implements, abandoned cars and empty, dilapidated housing)- there needs to be a careful watch made on this potential problem. One thing I will not miss is the very loud, incessant music but I will miss the warmth of the climate and the people (once you have broken through that initial blank look!)

My one regret is that I had to cancel my planned meal of curried crab and dumplings on the final night of our holiday; a good reason to go back!

We recently returned from our trip to Tobago. It was lovely and we especially enjoyed our stay at Sandy's Bed and Breakfast. In addition to being great (and laidback) hosts, Allison and Ken were very informative about the island. We quite enjoyed the conversation and the food. We dined once at breakfast and once at lunch and the food at the Blue Crab was some of the best we experienced. There is nothing fancy about the rooms, but it was comfortable and roomy. It was just what we were looking for. If you want a resort with lots of amenities and service, this is not the place- in fact, Tobago is not the place. Scarborough is eclectic, busy and interesting but don't expect Cancun!

The best part of our trip is the people that we met and Allison was one of the most enjoyable.

I would go back tomorrow.

My 5-day stay at Sandy's Bed & Breakfast was excellent. I wanted a basic, affordable, quiet room with good surroundings...and that is what I got. The owners of the Cottage were extremely friendly. They were genuinely interested in my well-being. The Blue Crab Restaurant, directly below my room, was fantastic. Some day, I would love to go back for a visit.

We can't say say enough about the hospitality provided by our hosts Ken And Alison. Rooms were great for the price ansd the breakfasts outstanding. We would recomend this quaint little spot for short stays to anyone. beaches are a short hike or a route taxi away but we didn't mind once we got to know the island. Recomend Bacolet Beach or Buccoo Beach.
