Palm Breeze Villa - Reader Reports & Opinion
A Super Villa! Beautiful And Well Located.
Anthony Townsend from U.K. visited in April 2006 and awarded
We spent a fantastic two weeks at Sheila and Bill's beautiful villa! It's a super base from which to visit the whole island. The facilities were just what we needed – Nice, spacious rooms, laundry room, air conditioning, ice-maker! Merle was so helpful and friendly. A lovely lady. Bev looks after a beautiful garden. Very close to Store Bay and Pigeon Point. All the shops and restaurants we needed are close by. Don't miss 'House of Pancakes' and 'Bamboo Mile'. I'd recommend any one visiting the island to hire a car, or you could use taxis. Great birdwatching close by if that is your thing! All details for car hire, places to visit, good retaurants are provided in the villa. The pool is perfect for a quick dip after an exciting day. The balcony is lovely to have breakfast on, laze in the hammock in the afternoon, or for dinner. It's very peaceful. Don't be worried by the proximity to the airport. There are few planes and you don't hear any. It's a quiet and safe neighbourhood. We are going back in 2007 and we can't recommend it enough!

A Wonderful Place To Stay
Phil Lever from U.K. visited in March 2006 and awarded
Our first trip to Tobago and we were absolutely smitten, especially by Bill and Sheila´s beautiful villa. It had everything we could wish for – spacious bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms plus one other, a well fitted kitchen and that balcony..... We never used the lounge because it was so pleasant sitting outside on the balcony all the time with the added bonus that all the rooms opened onto it. And finally the pool and garden were so welcoming and attractive.
Our stay was also made very pleasant by the happy and friendly maid (Merle), gardener (Bev) and agent (Navia) who could not do enough to help.
We thought that a hire car was more or less a must even though there were mini markets and restaurants close by. However, to get to a supermarket and see the island, taxi or bus was not so convenient. And to get to Englishman´s Bay, one of the best beaches anywhere, a car is essential.

A Relaxing And Delightful Villa And Country

We were thrilled with Tobago and Sheila and Bill's villa. The villa is a treat by itself – we felt completely at home in lovely surroundings, plenty of space and all the home comforts and more that you could need. The swimming pool was small but adequate, we popped in and out of it all day long!
People are so friendly and we enjoyed the nearby beach (8 minutes walk) ideal for swimming and snorkelling.
Merle (the friendly maid) helped and advised us on the local shops and food, Bev (the gardener) kept the pool and gardens attractive.
We caught taxis, which were very inexpensive, and also later in the holiday had a hire car and visited Englishmen's Bay and explored some more of this fascinating island.
We relaxed and enjoyed a wonderful fortnight and hope to return.
