Home Stay At Its Best

We stayed at Gloucester Place for 1 week in April 08 in the lovely Concord Suite. The room is definitely the nicest one in the house and offers great views and an own balcony.
Our favourite spots though were the ground floor balcony and the pool area. The views are just breathtaking! You can sit there and watch for hours.
The hosts Bea and Win Sargent did everything to make our stay an unforgettable one. They are most friendly people, very commmunicative and open for everything. One feels open to ask for anything. Thanks a lot!

Simply delightful! Win and Bea were very accommodating hosts. Bea even fed me chicken broth the first full day there, as I was Ill. our room was simple yet beautifully appointed with a fantastic view of the sea spray hitting the rocks below, very relaxing. As I stayed in bed the first whole day there, I can attest to the comfort of the bed.
It's nice to see that Win and Bea care so much for the community that they live in to give classes for the local children.(They are re-tired teachers) The community also cares about them, as every time we mentioned to the locals where we were staying, they broke into big smiles and said how wonderful Win and Bea are.
We had a great time there and will certainly stay there again, when we go back to Tobago!
The Most Perfect Place.

We stayed in Essex Cottage for 3 weeks, it realy was like being in a large airy beautiful tree house, perfect for us 2 oldies who love the countryside birds & flowers, all of these in abundance plus pretty waterfalls to walk to & fantastic beaches.The owners were so very friendly,kind & helpfull.We will go back,what more can we say,PERFECT.

We stayed in the cottage which sleeps 4 persons. The accommodation was very comfortable with all the facilities we required. Our hosts were very helpful, most welcoming and friendly. We loved the views from the swimming pool area. For 4 people the cost was very reasonable and privacy was assured. We would have no hesitation in staying there again.
Great Away-from-it-all Location

Enjoyed a lovely week here in early January, staying in the self contained cottage, with views to die for. By no means luxurious but perfectly clean and well-equipped and with nice outside space for the balmy nights.
Amazing bird life (plus the odd gecko and bat!)
Had use of the infinity pool which also has breathtaking views over the ocean. Hosts Bea and Wyn couldn't do enough for us, organising a taxi and providing a food parcel after our flight was delayed and we couldn't get to the supermarket before arriving.
e just about managed without a car – Englishman's Bay (beautiful) is a sweaty walk and the village five minutes down steep steps – but transport is an advantage.
We cooked in most nights, ate out at lunchtime at the beach or in the excellent River Side restaurant in Parlatuvier. Bea will also provide evening meals.
Noise from a bar across the valley was a problem on one night but we were told it was a holiday and rarely an issue.
If you don't mind being a little isolated this is the perfect spot. The pool is the icing on the cake.
