Banaquit Crown Point   12 Feb 2004

Zora Lawrence from Brighton UK

We stayed there at the beginning and end of our holiday. It is perfect as a base – clean,a/c, nice kitchen and cable TV overlooking a nice garden. The owners are unobtrusive – they actually reduced our room rate when we arrived from $50 per night to $35! That hasn't happened to us before!

Bananaquit is about 5 minutes walk from Store Bay Beach and 4 minutes walk from the airport. Perfect. We checked in with our bags at 4.00pm then went back to BQ and relaxed before boarding at 6.40pm. Far better than hanging around the airport for hours – they didn't charge us extra either!

Cheers

Zora

Hi

Have been checking out the forum for a while for any thoughts on Bananaquit, as we've booked a couple of weeks there at the end of August. Does anyone have any experience of this property? From the email communciation I've had with them, everything sounds positive!

We're so looking forward to this holiday!

Regards

Caroline
