Myself and my family visited Tobago two years ago and stayed at the Crown
Point Beach Hotel this was a comfortable a thoroughly enjoyable stay. So
much so, we have decided to go back again this year unfortunately there is
currently no availability at this resort. Having visited your website
mytobago I found the Sandy Point Beach Resort which upon reading the spec
sounds very similar to the CPBH.
Unfortunately they have advised that there is no availability. Is there
anywhere else in the Crown Point versinity that offers the same resort
amenities as these two.
Alternatively, would you happen to know anyone who has a time share Beach
Villa at the Sandy Point Beach Resort from 8 July to 22 July, that would be
willing to rent their accommodation for this duration.
Please help if you can.

Crown Point Beach Resort - Quick Review 07 Feb 2004

We spent two nights at the CPBR in January this year after ten days of hopping around the island.
The resort offers excellent access to excellent Store Bay beach, pleasant grounds away from the relatively busy Crown Point area, a good restaurant and rooms and rates that provide excellent value when compared to a Coco Reef or Hilton resort.
The rooms and cabanas (we stayed in a cabana) are aging but are kept up quite well. Service was excellent – including security for folks that might think that important. Complimentary access to the internet (though only one computer by the registration desk) was helpful.
We would certainly stay at the CPBR again and recommend it to friends.

Hi,
I wonder if anyone knows anything about "Half moon blue Hotel"??

We stayed at the Crown Point hotel in January following our bad experience at the Tropikist. The holel is run by friendly helpful staff who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Nothing is too much trouble! The grounds are absolutely beautiful! You can sit outside your accomodation or take the short walk down the steps to Store Bay, the best beach on the island! We spent several days in an apartment and one week in a Cabana, so we had the best of both worlds, so to speak. Both accomodations had self catering facilities which was a definitely plus, as we could cater for ourselves, which we did ocassionally after purchasing fresh fish from the local traders.
We especially enjoyed the Best of Thymes restaurant. The food was excellent and we particularly wanted to thank the lovely, lovely Cynthia for her warm, welcoming, charming spirit. Apart from the delicious food she makes the very best cocktails! Would definitely stay there again. In fact can't wait to go back!! ![]()
