Just came back from my stay at Humming bird heights with my husband and son we all had a wonderful time the view was fantastic the pool was extremely great cant wait to visit again. Miss Shirley is a wonderful person and i want to thank her for the accommodation .The price is unbeatable the apartments are very homely. I already start recommended the place for my friends and family.

I needed a vacation from everything, so I decided to stay away from the beach. Shirley was welcoming and I got the rest I needed. The breakfast in the morning was always wonderful. I recommend this whole-heartedly.

This my 6th visit to miss Shirley (an ex pat) and Hummingbird Heights – shirley organised my wedding in Tobago in 2005 at beautiful Canoe Bay.
It was great to have Shirley waiting at the airport to meet me – she meets all her guests and then it was back for her excellent complimentary rum punch and fab flying fish sandwiches.
Everything was as wonderful as I remembered, its lovely to lie by the side of the exceptionally clean private pool with a beer (Carib) watching the hummingbirds feeding on all the flowers, my idea of heaven. For drinks there is a local cash and carry where you can buy very cheap booze and cigarettes and there is a fridge right by the pool for all guests to use
Shirley organised a car for me at great rates, I feel a car is necessary wherever you stay in Tobago if you want to make the most of the island – its only costs about a tenner to fill the tank anyway. Shirley is able to recommend all the great places to eat and tell where to find them, and is able to advise on the best beaches and trips available – she will book any trip for you.

Great Time Had!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hummingbird heights for a total of 3 and a half weeks during February and March. we has a lovely time and the villa is ideally situated. It's close to scarborough and it only takes 20-30 minutes to get to most of the nice beaches around the south end of the island. To get to Englishman's Bay and other beaches there is a back way through the rainforest area which is near to the villa which also saves a bit if time. The villa was very comfortable and suited us well for our stay there. Our only gripe was there wasn't really enough cupboard space for our clothes, but apart from that very nice. The pool was cleaned every other day and the pool cleaner was a very nice man to chat to – if you got up early enough to catch him!! We both had a very nice and enjoyed our holiday!
