My family and I stayed for a weekend at Hummingbird Heights.
We thoroughly enjoyed it. Shirley is really a wonderful person. She made us feel right at home,along with her pets.
Skinny,Violet and Chance. We had such a beautiful view of
Scarborough and the ocean. Even though there was a large amount of us, we were very comfortable with the
accomodations. I can't wait to go back. I have already recommended it to my friends.

We have stayed here for a month while volunteering at the hospital as part of our medical elective from the UK. The accomodation and facilities including the pool are fantastic and the host is extremely friendly with a wealth of local knowledge about the island. strongly recommend this for holidays or if you happen to be on the island for a long stay like us.

My friends and I wanted a short holiday from work our normal life back at home so we decided to get away for a weekend. Fortunately we came across Hummingbird hieghts on the net, saw the pics and thought it would be a nice place to have fun and relax; and so it was. It everything we expected and more, loved the pool, and Shirley was very kind and friendly. I would happily recommend any of my friends to stay there!

The Hummingbird Heights is a great destination for a long or short term break in this wonderful country, Shirleys effusive welcome at the airport really sets the mood and gets you ready to enjoy the best that Tobago has to offer. Staying at the Heights with the marvelous view over Scarborough and the day or night use of the private pool and sundeck ensure you max out on relaxation. But the story doesn't end there, with Shirleys intimate knowledge of the island life you'll be directed to the best bars and restaurants, swimming and snorkeling beaches and given a thorough briefing on the quirky taxi system. The accomodation is comfortable and very clean, although lacking airconditioning the elevated position on the hill ensure a steady breeze of cooling sea air and a restful nights sleep. I've already arranged my next visit so i guess that says it all!
Paradise Found During My Medical Elective

I am a medical student and undertook my medical elective in Tobago. I stayed with Shirley for 5 weeks B+B. I had a fantastic time and have many great memories. Hummingbird Heights is a lovely place to stay. Its hillside location provides a cool breeze and a fantastic view of Scarborough. There is a large, clean, refreshing pool. The bedroom and bathroom are clean and spacious. Shirley (the owner) is very friendly and welcoming. Her island tour is great for getting your bearings and her local knowledge is really useful for getting good deals on boat trips, jeep hire, knowing the best bars, restaurants, beaches etc. Shirley introduced me to many of her friends who also made me feel very welcome. She has had other medical students in the past and knows exactly where you have to go at the hospital, which helps you on your first day! Her hearty breakfasts make sure you start the day right as well. I definately recommend Hummingbird Heights to anyone thinking of coming to Tobago. I'm looking forward to returning to Tobago and Hummingbird Heights in the future.
