Location: Peaceful, secluded accommodation set in lush gardens, attracting a wealth of birds and wildlife: located in the village of Black Rock, on the Caribbean coast on the west side of the island, 15 minutes from the airport, away from the more commercial tourist areas, yet within easy reach of all that Tobago has to offer and just a 5 minute stroll from the beach at Courland Bay - the perfect base for the independent traveller.
The Apartments: (2 studios and 1 two-bedroom): Each spacious self-contained apartment is tastefully decorated and fully furnished, with en-suite facilities, cable TV, a well equipped kitchen/diner (including cooker fridge/freezer, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery and utensils). All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have ceiling and/or standing fans and each apartment has its own private veranda.

Wir hatten einen herrlich erholsamen Urlaub in Lindsayˋs Appartment!Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin war super, Liz antwortete immer sehr schnell und alles war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert!
Das Apartment war sehr sauber. Im Schlafzimmer gab es eine Klimaanlage und Moskitonetz. Die Matratze war sehr gut, wir haben prima geschlafen. Die Küche war zum Kochen einfacher Gerichte bestens ausgestattet. Es gab eine Waschmaschine und genügend Platz die Wäsche zu trocknen. Die Terrasse war unser Lieblingsplatz, schon beim Frühstück konnten wir die Vogelwelt genießen!
Die Stoneheaven Bay, war ganz wunderbar für den täglichen morningswim in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Fort Bennet ist ein schöner ruhiger Platz um zu sitzen und den Blick übers Meer zu genießen.
Turtle Beach ebenfalls zu Fuß zu erreichen.
In wenigen Gehminuten gibt es mehrere Einkaufmöglichkeiten und eine Bushaltestelle.
Wir hatten ein Mietauto und auch als Ausgangspunkt um die Insel zu erkunden war Black Rock perfekt.
Wenn wir wieder nach Tobago kommen, dann wieder in Lindsayˋs Apartment!!

just returned from an enjoyable stay, on my own ... my second visit! For me it's ideal - simplicity with comfort, surrounded by beautiful trees, flowers and birds.This part of Black Rock is home to the local people, nothing 'touristy' about it, just a real down-to-earth village with a rugged, but lovely, beach at the end of the road and Grafton Beach just a short walk away.
No car, so I walked everywhere in the area and experienced nothing but friendly responses from everyone around and always felt comfortable and safe. The local vibe is part of the Black Rock experience.
