Third visit to Tobago and these fabulous apartments. The owners Liz and Lindsay make you feel extremely welcome. The addition of air conditioning this year is a bonus. The gardens surrounding the apartments are lovely, the bamboo feeders (which you can fill with sugar or fruit skins)attract a huge variety of birds, this year we were even visited by the Mot- Mot!

I would highly recommed Liz and Lindsays apartments if you want to experience being in the real tobago.

Stayed for a week last year and came back again !!

Facilities are excellent bright, clean ,well equipped and

welcoming and the addition of air conditioning this year areal treat!

The gardens are a delight - lush and full of all sorts of brightly coloured birds.- you could easily spend your day on the terrace with a rum and a book -its a gentle, relaxed unhurried sort of place which wraps soothingly around you and is so good to come back to at the end of day exploring this truly splendid island !

Whilst its off the beaten track - away from the sunloungers and hotel crowds - its v short walk to a delightful beach where you can watch the local fishermen bringing in the nets, pelicans diving and fish flying or simply doze safely in the sun - as a single woman i felt comfortable and safe throughout my stay

..last but by no means least - no mosquitos !!

I would commend it unreservedly ..and yes i hope to go back!

Both my wife and myself found the location of the building to be in an area in the middle of a village tucked away remotely off an unpaved side-road used by pedestrians to move from one area of the village to another. This was a little distracting.

We both were very concerned that there was only one entrance to our accommodation with burgular bars fitted to the only window away from the main entrance.

More seriously is the fact that the propane gas bottle was located inside the apartment near the entrance; we would not have been able to get out of the apartment if a fire had started in the area of the gas bottle or cooking aera.

Other than the foregoing all was fine.

Lovely place, very quiet. Enjoy the local life at Black rock; if you stay there before carnival, make sure you like to hear the pan play...

Good beds, everything's very clean, great place to stay!

I love these apartments! They are clean, fully equipped and close to Turtle Beach. Great dollar value and we enjoyed our stay there very much. Owners are very accommodating and charming. Apartments have everything you need and are close to all amenities in the village of Black Rock. Would recommend to anyone looking for privacy, cleanliness and a great bargain. Will definately stay again!
