Our 12 year old son insists on giving this accommodation a 5 star rating and we agree completely with him. It was much more than we could have imagined. Mt Irvine is a beautiful, quiet and scenic part of Tobago. The villa has a pool set within a beautifully landscaped garden. This is where our children spent quite a lot of time. We had to get them out of the water to have breakfast and to go to bed at night!
The rooms are all very spacious, beautifully decorated and air conditioned. The two living room areas on different sides of the house ensures you are never too hot. This is also good for families with different age groups so that everyone has their space (we had three different generations with us). We also spent a lot of time on the very large balcony which offers fantastic views over the trees to the sea. It is a wonderful place to have meals and listen to the birds. The kitchen is better equipped than that in my own home!
Joe and Grace are also fantastic hosts. You wish that you could adopt them to be your family so you could visit them often. They are a fountain of knowledge on a range of topics. Make sure you ask Joe about his Olympics experience – my family was most impressed!

Terry & Donna McElhone from Canada visited in February 2010 and awarded
We and our family and friends stayed with Joe and Grace at
their # bedroom villa and had a wonderful vacation.
The children couldn't leave the pool unless eating or going to one of the nearby beaches.
Joe led us to the airport to get family as our car wouldn't carry all of the luggage and passengers, and when we were leaving they got up at 6am and Joe drove to the airport again.
We cannot say enough about their hospitality and accommodations.
Their phone number will be the first one to call should we have the opportunity to return to their beautiful island again.
Thank you Joe and Grace.

Quiet, peaceful, comfortable and spacious accomodation, beautiful garden and friendly dogs. This location is ideal for those who need to recharge and spend some quiet time - there is a wide selection of books and cds, there is a breath-taking view from the balcony and birds readily fly throughout the house living up to the name of the villa! There are so many areas that one can sit, read and reflect in the gardens and surroundings, and the pool is large and deep enough to enjoy a daily swim yet the property is still close enough to many of the best beaches. The owners were very helpful and made us all feel at home. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and I would recommend Birdsong Villa to any family looking for a "home away from home!"

My family and friends stayed at this location in August last year, and did not want to leave. The owners are friendly and helpful, the house is comfortable with everything you will need for your stay. The pool was the absolute favorite with the kids, its not too deep and there were toys available to use in the pool.
