Casa DelaMar (House by the Sea) is situated in a protected coconut grove directly on one of Tobago's most unspoiled private beaches. Just three minutes from the capital of Scarborough, this villa captures the heart and sole of Tobago!
Built in 2000, Casa DelaMar accommodates as many as six (6) adults* comfortably in this spacious 1900 sq.ft 4 bedroom oceanfront villa. The chef's kitchen is fully equipped with modern amenities such as microwave, dishwasher, two refrigerators, and even features a 12 foot cooking island! The TV unit includes a VHS, DVD, stereo, games, and a wide selection of reading material for the quieter moments.
The open concept dining/living/and kitchen area surround the walkout porch and all face what guests refer to as the 'Million Dollar View' to describe the breathtaking panoramic beauty of Ministers Bay!
Upon arrival, your host, Deborah, will welcome you with any inquiries you may have. If you prefer, Deborah, who is a fully licensed caterer, would delightfully prepare any of the popular local dishes for your enjoyment. She is also available for extra cleaning during your stay. These extra services are very reasonable and paid in local rates directly to Deborah (e.g. in 2009 an average fully cooked meal is equivalent to approximately $20US per adult.
Take a stroll to the beach from your very own privately pathway and see the oceanfront untouched since the days of Columbus! The in-ground pool features a shallow leisure-end, which is ideal for infants or loungers, yet graduates to a standard six feet for the lap swimmer, it is even illuminates for evening swimming!
For added convenience, there is both a change room and washroom adjoining the laundry room. Casa DelaMar is backsplit in design, which enables anyone with stair restrictions easy access to the pool level via large exterior ramp. We recently installed two wall a/c units in master bedbroom and south facing bedroom. The remaining bedroom features ceiling fans and two windows to catch the ocean cross breeze. This villa is one of the few in the neighbourhood with fully equipped SCREENED-IN adjustable glass windows!
During your stay you can choose from so much of what Tobago has to offer. Casa DelaMar is close enough to all the attractions such as eco-tours, golfing, and diving, yet far removed from the hustle and bustle of modern day living! Imagine yourself gently being lulled to sleep by gentle trade wind breezes and the therapeutic sounds of the ocean waves below.
It's perfect for both the young and old alike; whether you are traveling on business, vacationing with a young family,or escaping for a romantic getaway , the extra spacious setting accommodates everyone.......we even offer specials for newlyweds. Casa DelaMar is a naturalist delight - explore an uncharted waterfall in a rainforest, visit a historical relic, or walk on a beach where the only footprints are your own!
