We have just returned from a fabulous week in Tobago, where we stayed in Chaconia, an apartment within Black Rock Dreams (which is a very well appointed, small and pretty development). We were a party of four adults and cannot recommend the accommodation highly enough, it is extremely clean, comfortable and spacious, with a well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were both ensuite and had aircon and fans making them a lovely haven from the heat but I think we would all agree that the highlight is the location - the view from the terrace is beautiful and the beach is literally just a few steps away. We toured the island and found some lovely beaches and bays if you fancy a drive but decided that it is actually pretty hard to beat the stretch of sand directly in front of the apartment. It is also an easy walk to a couple of restaurants and several bars which is handy if you don't want to be in the car all the time. Tobago itself is delightfully unspoilt, the people incredibly friendly although don't expect anything to happen in a hurry! We all loved our week away and found it surprisingly easy to 'switch off' very quickly once we got there, in a word, go!

This is the 2nd stay at Chaconia. What a paradise of a place. This is where all your stress goes to die! Gorgeous home, amazing views, location to die for, 2 secs to the beach and 5 to the beach bar/restaurant. This property is accurately described.

Liz is the best friend you have on the island, accommodating, friendly and full of very useful information :)

I would recommend this to couples or families with kids(older or younger) there's something for everyone. There are 2/3 resorts close by and one has a pretty decent gym that will help you not feel as guilty about your indulgences. It is a public beach but thankfully no one bugs you except for a passing hallo or a smile.

Amazing destination in all and we LOVE it enough to keep going back!

The Chaconia suite is a lovely, well equipped, spacious villas on a tidy, well kept site, walking distance from an amazing beach. We have never stayed in a villa holiday, but the Chaconia has us hooked, it really does give you more opportunities to relax together as a family, than staying in a hotel does.

The team which look after while staying at this villa are extremely helpful and there local knowledge really helped us make the most of the holiday from day one.

Tobago is a beautiful unspoilt island with lots to explore, during our holiday we enjoyed, the carnival, a waterfall, a walk in the rainforest, a boat trip to nylon pool and a fun afternoon on Jet Skis at Crown point.

Girls Trip from U.S.A. visited in February 2016 and awarded  Five out of Five

We are 6 women that travel once a year. Every year we go somewhere new. Most of the time we book on Homeaway or VRBO. We loved Tobago and really enjoyed our stay at Chaconia Suite. This was one of the best places we have stayed. Loved having daily maid service. There was more then enough room for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. We had the pool mostly to ourselves. We loved our daily visit from the managers dogs. Especially Lucy. Beach was one of the best on the island. We took a self driving tour, and checked out many beaches. Give yourself at least 4 hours to drive around the island. There are many, many turns, and hills, pretty but crazy. Two girls played golf and said the course and people were wonderful. Great price for golf, too. There was a couple of Restaurants you could walk to. Driving was easy, even thou they drive on the wrong side. LOL. Liz was a great help from, just looking, booking, arrival, checking in, question that arrived during stay and booking tours. She is just a phone call away when things come up. I would recommend this place to everyone. Very safe. The unit has an alarm system We set it off one morning (forgot to turn off when we went outside) and we had a phone call within 1 minute at 5:30 am to check that we were okay. Thanks for a great vacation.

My wife, 11 y o daughter, sister and niece stayed at the Chaconia Suite and it was simply divine. The owners and manager have thought about every detail to make this a home away from home. We frequently stay in RCI Gold Crown units and over the past 10 years this unit is in our top 3 units ever, but #1 for location, amenities, owner, management and maintenance. Grafton beach on which it is located has water clearer than Pigeon Point and the beach is quiet and long enough for walks. We adopted Tizzy (delightful cat) and Lucie (sweet dog) for a week (they live on the property and are great pets) and Liz (manager) and Lenore (house-keeper) looked after us in fine style. The unit has everything you can want and more including DVDs, books, all mod cons. Mornings were wonderful with the sound of the waves and birds and perfect sunsets and sea breeze. The main road nearby has numerous restaurants and grocery shopping is 10 min away. We cannot say enough about this amazing suite, the condo building and grounds, the suite's owner, manager and house-keeper. Stay here if you go to Tobago, you will want to go back. In fact, you will never want to leave! My wife and I are from Trinidad and Tobago originally so consider this statement from locals who have lived in Canada, UK and US. This is a little piece of heaven!
