Dimple's Apartments - Reader Reports & Opinion

We just returned from a 4 day stay in Tobago, and we loved it! Dimples is in a residential area about a 10-15 minute walk from Store Bay. Pigeon Point is probably more like a 20-30 minute walk (which feels longer in the heat of mid-day). And the airport is about a ten minute walk. There are also restaurants, mini marts and an internet cafe along the walk to Store Bay. So it is a great location. Claire had just had surgery the day before we arrived, so I never got to meet her. However, Liston (AKA Dimples) was very helpful in planning our stay. He set us up with a discounted glass bottom boat tour (definitely recommend it) and let us use the beach chairs while we waited for the boat to be prepared. The apartment was very clean. It had a kitchen/sitting room with a TV (has a stove, sink and fridge but no microwave). Then there is a bedroom with a private bathroom attached. They do have a dog that roams freely during the day who is very friendly, but she does jump on you sometimes when she gets excited. We enjoyed the beauty of Tobago and would definitely return to stay at Dimples Apartments if we ever go back! (Don't miss Sunday School or Argyle Falls)

My husband and I stayed here one night on our way to north east Tobago. We found the apartments really good with everything you could need and very close to the airport which was really convenient. We wished we had chosen to stay there longer as it is great value for money in my opinion. Thanks

My spouse and I were very fortunate to select here to stay for the period Apr 2-5, that is the easter long weekend. These apartments are located a little way from the airport,so I don’t recommend walking with luggage, especially on a hot sunny day. Claire, the owner was very accommodating and allowed us an early check in and a late check out, very rarely allowed in the more commercialized accommodations.
We found the room to be very very clean, very well equipped, more than adequate living space for a couple. The bed was very comfortable. The location of these apartments is very quiet and relaxing, off the store bay old road so still close to alot of eating places and beaches.
Our stay was definitely too short. We also rented the jeep that Claire’s husband had for rent. I cannot stress how good of a value renting this room and the jeep was and to be quite honest, this was the best stay we have had in Tobago thus far.
Claire was also available to offer advice on places to go and just a shout away (she lives upstairs) if there were any issues (we didn’t really have any). Even though she stays upstairs, it was a very private and romantic experience as her and her family’s activities are very independent from the apartment guests’.
Dimples apartments will definitely be seeing us again.
Thanks Claire for a superb vacation!

The apartment was nice and cosy. It is a pity the cable was giving problems. All other amenities were in order.
There was no parking on the actual compound, but no items were stolen from my vehicle on the adjacent lot.
My son thoroughly enjoyed the aminals....parrot, rabbits and dog. He also enjoyed Claire's children and nephew.

Excellent value and charming, easy to deal with hosts. We were collected from the airport and an initial shop was done for us. In a quiet, residential area where we watched hummingbirds from our sitting out area. Although not essential, a car is desirable in our opinion and we thought that the website photographs didn't do the apartments justice. A great start to our holiday.
