At J. & G’s Tropical Apartments, beautiful scenery and panoramic views ideally located on flat lands on the Western Peninsula of Tobago. These Apartments consist of three Executive/Deluxe/Luxury self-contained at very affordable rates. They are conveniently located between Milford Road and Store Bay Local Road, which is in close proximity to Pigeon Point, Store Bay beaches and the A.N.R. Robinson International Airport.
J. & G’s Tropical Apartments is within easy distance of fine restaurants and exciting nightlife; ideal for either business or pleasure travel!
J&G’s is owned and operated by Ms. Persis Charles, who is hospitable and ensures your stay is a memorable and relaxing one. J & G’s has attracted local and international visitors over the years and boasts of high percentage of visitors who often return.
J. & G’s Tropical Apartments offer 3 self-contained efficiency units (with kitchenette) with all amenities (including washer and tumble dryers available, on request) to make your stay an unforgettable experience. All rooms are beautifully furnished, each opening onto a spacious patio or balcony front and back, where you can relax and escape the pressures of urban life. The apartments are fitted with air-conditioned bedrooms and ceiling fans, it is divided into two adjacent buildings consisting:
- One (1) one bedroom on the ground floor of building Number 1 and
- Two one-bedroom apartments on the upper floor of building Number 2 (with a lockable dividing door in the middle of both apartments which could be opened to accommodate a large family / group.)
The apartments encompass an atmosphere of quietness, coziness, cleanliness, Home Away From Home with verandas at the front and back of each apartment. The bedroom opens to its own private veranda which provides a view of nature. One could see on any given day the sheep and goats grazing in the surrounding areas, the butterflies flittering in the sunshine as well as different species of birds which often feed on fruit trees in the back yard garden. Early in the morning, you are awakened to the cock-a-doodle sound of the roosters, which gives you a feeling of true country life. Daily one only has to sit at the eastern or western side of the building or on the verandas overlooking the green shrubs to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and cool breeze that emanates from the nearby beaches and also the scenic rising and setting of the sun. The sensation of entering a rural area with the surrounding view offers a quiet, serene feeling of nature.
In addition, Taxi or Car Rental services are easily accessible as well as, arrangements can be made with the Glass bottom boat tours to visit Nylon Pool and Buccoo Reef, this usually starts at the nearby Store Bay and Pigeon Point Beaches. Should there be a need to taste our local cuisine in your private settings; arrangements can be made for a private chef to cater to your needs.
Also, if one needs to have fun and the urge to mingle with the friendly locals and dance the night away, there is the famous Shades Night Club or the Happy Hour Bar which provides local drinks including Carib/Stag beer or our famous tasty, seamoss punch, as well as our tasty local foods such as delicious jerk pork/chicken wings, curried crab and dumplings among a variety of other local cuisine. The Shades Night Club is only a five minute walk, while the Happy Hour Bar is approximately fifteen minutes walk from J. & G’s apartments, located at A.N.R. Robinson International Airport.
