I stayed for 4 days in one of the standard double occupancy rooms...generally clean rooms and bathroom. small refrigerator, double bed, TV, small wardrobe, mirror and a small porch was provide, pictures on the website was NOT a true take of the actual room. The room was very very SMALL and the washroom was even smaller i barely fit in the shower. there was no sheets nor towel change, in fact no towel was given (i am still awaiting the extra pillow i had requested), the sun deck was large and had GREAT view of the ocean and landing planes, but the chairs and tables that was provided was broken and dirty, that area was a bit smelly. The "resort" was in a very good location as the airport was exactly across the road, beach and restaurants was within walking distance. Mini mart at the resort was good enough with fair prices, but not much to choose from. There was cable TV however no internet access even though James stated it was available. Customer service wasnít the best as they didnít pay much attention to customers to even ask if they needed anything, pool hours was limited, closed at 10pm and for some reason whenever the cleaners took out my garbage when I was not in my room they ALWAYS left the door unlocked even though I kept it locked. Would i stay there again? Only and unless itís my very very last option....my rate out of 10 is 4...is it worth the money? NO.....

WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED!
James Holiday Resort is not a true reflection of the natural beauty of Tobago.
My family along with my siblings, their family, nieces and nephews visited Tobago for a relaxing weekend in July. Our only disappointment on this trip was the place we stayed. This is not a resort, the place is filthy and the owner/manager appeared to run a one-man show, administering the front desk, the mini mart and picking up guests at the airport. I was told that linens are available, however please walk with your own towels as these are not provided. The dishes, pots and pans are broken and shabby and there were no pot covers in the apartment where we stayed (Apt #3).
The THA needs to have this place closed as it gives the wrong impression about this beautiful paradise and the owner/manager given some training in customer service.
Please look around, there are many more comfortable, cleaner and more hospitable guest houses available in the vicinity at more competitive rates.

Spent a weekend in May 2011,place quiet,somewhat clean,have to beg for everything,a/c unit too high in room to adequately cool occupants during hot days and at nights.Mini-mart prices too high,sundeck just a roof platform.Could be better with a little work on customer service for available staff.Could be better for proximity to choice areas..........

James Holiday resort is definitely not a luxury resort. The amenities are basic. The swimming pool was enjoyable. The highlight of this resort is its location. It is in close proximity to everything. Beaches, banks, restaurants etc. It is definitely more than fair to say that you get your money's worth.

My husband and our two children stayed at the resort for four nights and i have no regrets. Keep up the good services such as your hospitality, proper maintenance of the surroundings and your polite staff. Sure to visit again.
