Stayed as couple for 3 nights in Apartment 2 (upstairs on the left looking out towards the Bay), the one with the best unobscured balcony view.

We stayed in 4 other beachside locations in Tobago, all in the US$85-$125 bracket, so at US$45 a night Sea Shells was an absolute bargain!!

Paid in advance by Western Union Money Transfer. No dramas.

Very clean and comfortable and excellent location at left end of the beach in Parlatuvier.

Joanne in the little cottage below cooked dinner for us each evening, served on her little verandah, for TT$75 each. Lovely local dishes, mainly fresh-fish.

Would definitely stay again.

I am from Tobago but living in the UK for over 12 years. Each time I come to Tobago for vacation I stay in the Crown Point area. This time I chose Sea Shell as I wanted to get away to have a good rest. Sea Shell definitely did that! Imagine going to bed to the sound of crashing sea water and waking up to the same... The location is excellent! Breezy, picture perfect view of the beach and surrounding area. I'll say the self-contained room had everything you would usually get at any guesthouse. The area is quite safe and quiet. There is a local shop and a bar close by. I will definitely be visiting Sea Shell again. I will also be recommending it to everyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Tobago. Sea Shell was exactly what I needed. Thank you Dave.

We stayed for one month and loved it. Room was basic but well equipped. Great location right on the end of the beach. Nice quiet safe village, great for just relaxing. Dale was very friendly and helpful as was his mother Anne who came to change the linens.

If you want a nice quiet relaxing holiday this is the place to go.

There is a store in the village to resupply but stock up on the way in at the bigger store where the taxi driver will stop for you. The full size fridge holds a lot.

Would go back in a miute.

Simple, very clean accomodation with a surprisingly well equiped kitchen. Spectacular views over the bay. Dale arranged everything for us, taxi from airport including stop for grocery shopping (driver a charming guy who dropped by several times to check everything OK and did we need anything or want any local guides to aid our birdwatching)and rental car delivered to apartment early next morning and drop of at airport on departure plus late departure from apartment as an evening flight. Dale was so friendly and helpful when we met him and Ann, his mother who came several times a week to change the linen was also very friendly and helpful. Joanne, who lives at the house just below Sea Shell will cook meals on request (eat in her house or have delivered to Sea Shell)and help out in any emergency. Little shop in village quite well stocked and friendly (internet connection available) and so were the fishermen and other people in the village. Altogether a relaxed holiday enhanced by such friendly people and great value for money accomodation. If you want lively, night entertainment don't go there but if you want peace in beautiful surroundings do go. For nature lovers and birdwatchers a great location. We hope to go back soon.

We had a wonderful experience of old Tobago. The exceptional peace and tranquility will linger in our memories.

The apartment was everything that we had hoped for, Ann Wallace had the apartment looking spotless on our arrival and supplied us with good quality bed linen every 3/4 days. The only problem that we had, apart from dealing with a dead 'anaconda'outside the kitchen window, was having to flush the lavatory with a bucket for a few days as the flush mechanism was broken. There were also a few power cuts as trees had fallen on the power lines but these sorts of things come with the experience of being in a very rural area.

Most of the time we relaxed on the shady balcony, went walking and swimming and ate fish straight off the fishing boats. The bird life was extremely varied and kept us enchanted. We would definitely return!
