My Boyfriend and I stayed at this Resort for the Easter vacation and we must say that this was the WORST resort that we stayed in EVER to begin with:

1. the a/c in the room was not working and even though they came and claim they fixed it it never work for our entire stay (a fan was given to us to use for our stay) it must be noted that we paid to ensure we have a functioning a/c as Tobago is very hot)

2. the lights in what they call a living was not working nor the ones in the hallway

3. the bathroom was HORRIBLE as it was dirty the pipes had green stuff on the inside of the head and this was also seen in the kitchen sinks as well.

the only good thing in the room was the refrigerator as it clean and working

the pool was okay as it was clean

I WOULD NOT NOW OR EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE IT WAS THE WORST

OMG! I really don't know where to start....

On 27th March 2012 my sister, her baby and I checked in to this place. (PLEASE NEVER GO THERE)

We told them that we were expecting three other guys, so we paid for them, they didnt get on the boat so we asked for a refund for them. They DID NOT want to give us.

Then she charge us for three nights and we only stayed for one night, when i asked for a receipt she said she dont give receipts. Do you believe this woman? I mean who doesn't give receipts in this day and age???

First of all it was shared kitchen, TV didnt work, TV small like an orchard pack, a/c was very hot, mosquitos for so, and to boot she had night classes in the porch (which we rented) and told us to leave the front door open while the class going on.

And when the taxi pull up for us she run out side to insult me...

PEOPLE I DO NOT WANT NOBODY, I MEAN NOBODY TO EVER GO THROUGH WHAT WE'VE BEEN THROUGH.

SO PLEASE STAY AT A HOTEL, ALTHOUGH YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY A LITTLE MORE, AND NOT UNDER SOMEBODY HOUSE, WHAT THEY TRYING TO CALL "HOTEL".

AS I TOLD A TAXI DRIVER IF THIS WAS MY FIRST VISIT TO TOBAGO I WOULD OF NEVER RETURN!!!!

SPENCE WAS THE WORST.

I would not even call this place a resort!!!

#1: It is NOT worth the PRICE.

#2: Place was dirty

#3: There was a dead, dry up cockroach upon entering the bathroom for the very first time. This goes to show that the rooms were NOT being cleaned on a regular basis

#4: After the very first night; my friends and i awoke to see a half dead cockroach on the bedroom floor. When we told the owner he said maybe it came out of our travel bags.

#5: The bathrooms were very yucky looking. There was slime on the bathroom sliding door.

#6: While showering you could look outside the bathroom window and view a tree; so that mean anyone can climb on the tree and see you showering.

#7: We asked for extra bedsheets and it was full of HOLES

#8: The a/c was not functioning. The owners fixed it but it only worked for a while. So the first night was a really HOT night for the group.

#9: The pictures of the rooms on the internet is NOT a true reflection of the rooms. The room we stayed is far from that picture.

#10. The pool was ok but dirty

There are alot more better places in Tobago for this same price that will be totally worth it!!!

Great location - minutes from Crown Point Airport, minutes from Store Bay beach.

Fantastic staff, especially Coren and Mr Spence - very, very helpful; no request was too much.

Accommodation - disappointing. We were upgraded to a two bedroom property, but the rooms are in need of refurbishment and updating. The kitchen utensils were very basic, a 'mish-mash' of equipment; the fridge door was kept closed by a plastic fork, not very impressive!

All in all the hospitality of the staff and the location of the accommodation could not be faulted, but the accommodation itself was not up to expectations.

The place is not worth the price, since I had the opportunity to look around at differnt places which was less and much nicer, they advertised wireless internet and when I arrived there was none. The staff was not to friendly especially the male that was there, whenever he was asked a question he could never give an answer especially since I am not from Tobago and needed direction at times, however the maid was very nice. Parking was also a problem since the yard was small and could not hold all the cars that were there, so you had to either rush to have your vehicle parked inside or it was the road, then you would have to block persons so in order for them to move they would have to call you to move your vehicle. This review is on the resort on StoreBay Road with the pool, as there is one lower down and on the other side.I am not sure that I would go back there.
