Villa iguana is a very quiet, comfortable place to stay. From our arrival to our departure it was really enjoyable. There was enough room nice caretakers everything was way more than expected. I would advise anybody to go there at anytime you will enjoy your stay.

The place is really well kept, has a veranda and a huge terrace. The place is clean, has a nice living room/kitchen, a nice bathroom with a huge shower providing immediate hot water and two bedrooms. Unfortunately just the bigger one counts with air-condition.
All in all for the price really a good deal, 100 meters from the house is a small bar(Kiosk) and across the street one of the best fish restaurants on the island.
it is just a few minutes drive to get to the next beach.

According to the price we can recommend Villa Iguana.
The location of this small property is wonderful if the weather is nice. When we two persons were there the wind was very heavy which made the sun from the sea very loud. But with calmer days it should be very nice as the house lies strictly on the rocks.
The apartement is suitable and ok for 2-4 persons with two bedrooms. We were little disappointed that one of the bedrooms did not have any aircon.
The staff was very friendly but we had to ask for simple things that should have been in the kitchen from the start.
An extra plus for this place is that is located just 5 minutes walk from probably one of the best restaurants in Tobago; Fish Pot. We hade fantastic meals there almost every day.
For those who like laied back, rasta style and playing pool you will have nice evenings at the Rastamans bar close to Fish Pot restaurant.

Whilst this 'villa' is in a superb setting and the location brilliant thats where it ends for us. It would be fair to say the property is very tired and in need of updating. We had expected Carribbean basic but we were very disappointed. We have given a 2 star rating because of the location, the property is 1 star.
While offering air conditioning, this is true but only in the main bedroom and not very efficient. The bedroom at the front of the property is very small for 2 adults and if you don't like the sound of the ocean crashing in it's not for you!
Beds in both rooms were fine but the rest of the furniture needs replacing.
Living Room:- Not enough chairs for 4 adults to sit comfortably and no dining table or chairs if you did want to eat indoors.
The kitchen:-Contents,fridge,cooker,coffee maker, toaster, crockery and cutlery need replacing. We had to clean most of the above before we could use anything. The kitchen is not equipped for self-catering for four people.
The bathroom:- Basin barely clinging to the wall and the shower was positively disgusting. No amount of cleaning will ever make it any better it needs a re-vamp. On the bright side there was constant hot water.
Bed linen was clean. Towels left a lot to be desired, bleach stained. I would only use as a floorcloth to be honest.
Outdoor area:-not very well equipped with furniture for comfortaly enjoying the magnificent view of the ocean and the plethora of wild birds that come into the garden.
This property needs an overhaul and in our opinion it wouldn't take too much time or money.
We are four '50 somethings' and would thoroughly recommend Pleasant Prospect, but unfortunately we could not do the same for Villa Iguana. Our kids have stayed in better accommodation back packing!!
