We stayed in Shirma's apartments for 5 weeks and had a great time whilst doing our medical elective at the hospital in Scarborough.

We stayed in one of the 3 apartments available. The whole place was of a high standard and very clean and tidy and felt very safe.

It had one very spacious bedroom with a lovely, super comfy 6ft bed, tonnes of storage, bathroom with a spacious shower (Hot&cold water), separate WC, laundry room - with washing machine and hanging area, and air conditioning.
The living area is also very spacious with a well equipt kitchen, dining table and seating area with tv. Wireless internet included and accessible in the living area.

The nearest beach is 100-150m away - a lovely large rugged beach on the atlantic side. Great for walks and enjoying the sun and hardly another person there, lots of waves so good surf but need to be a confident swimmer. Another great beach just 10 mins away has lovely swimming as it's a bit more sheltered.

Alongside the great apartment Shirma was a fantastic host, always friendly welcoming. Shirma gave us a lift to the hospital every day on her way to work which was fantastic! We met the whole family and they were all lovely, Shirma's husband Clifford took us on a great island day tour - very professional service.

Overall a great stay, highly recommended especially if staying long-term.
