MeShells

Post by Paul J Corney »

Now in its 3rd year of trading located on the Shirvan Road along from Shirvan Watermill.
Bright coloured and tastefully decorated, MeShells has suffered somewhat from its location at a noisy junction of the busy Mt Irvine / Plymouth to Crown Point road. The rapid growth of the foliage surrounding the site though has turned it into an oasis where the quality of the food matches the interior décor.
We had Callaloo soup followed by Castara Curry topped off with home made ice cream.
Dinner costs about £20 per head inclusive of drinks.

Highly recommended with the caveat that until it becomes better patronised you do run the risk of being one of only a few diners though we did hear from other visitors that numbers have picked up dramatically this year.
