A warning to others, check the bill carefully at Golden Star!

Against my better judgement I ate there with guests last week. The food was actually quite good but when the bill came 25% (VAT and Service) had been added, this was not mentioned on the menu, and a carib had been charged at 60TT, not 10TT (which the waitress said was an oversight, but think they though we would'nt notice)
When I said to the waitress that the menu had not said anything about 25% she agreed it did'nt, but rather than create a fuss my guests just wanted to pay the bill and leave.

I would go there to listen to the steel band who are excellent on a Wednesday but pay for any drinks as I went along and eat at the pizza place just across the road in future.
