Places to eat/drink by Grafton Beach

Post by Paul R »

Hi to all,

I will be staying at the Grafton Beach resort from 13th Sept for 2 weeks.

This will be my first visit to Tobago, can't wait especially after reading the

posts on here (good work steve, great site).

Although we are AI i was wondering if there are many restaurants, cafes

bars close by to try the odd night during our stay.

It is my first time AI so do not know what to expect

Hi Paul

Welcome aboard!

The Grafton has two restaurants. Check out our Review (see Reviews menu above) for full details. Although we found the food there surprisingly good, any hotel can start to feel a bit "samey" after a week or more so it's great to get out.

There are a couple of local bars in Black Rock village, just a 5 minute walk from the hotel, if you're adventurous. However, just a little further in the other direction is Indigo - an excellent Irish owned and run restaurant and drinking spot. Highly recommended. The normally excellent Seahorse Inn is a similar distance away. Other than that, you've got a good 75% of all Tobago's best restaurants within less than a 10-minute taxi drive.

Enjoy!

Keep up the good work, this is a very informative site. My holiday preparations have been so much easier due to this.
