grocery stores

Post by Joanne Green »

Does anyone know whether grocery stores sell inexpensive styrofoam coolers and ice? We are staying in Castara and want to do our initial shopping at the Penny Savers by the airport, as I've heard that they have a very good selection.

Also, it bottled mild available, or is it all UHT?

Yes, you should be able to get the styrofoam coolers at the supermarket.

and, no, I've never heard of or seen bottled milk in Tobago.

Yes you can buy the coolers there, they are on top of one of the fridges on the left hand side as you go in (or they were when i bought one!)

You can also buy fresh milk there, it is best to buy several as it seems the smaller shops only sell the small packs of UHT
