fresh fish

Post by SandraK »

If you have access to a BBQ or grill do go to Mt. Pleasant after 4pm. and buy your dinner. Dolphin fish is superb - don't worry nothing to do with dolphins ! Best food we ate.Buy your salad from the street and enjoy. Use the local supermarkets for bread, olive oil ,balsamic -only go to Moorshead if you forgot the teabags.

The veg stalls are great, we bought fresh fish from the beach, then asked advice on what to cook with it at a veg stall. I wanted to stuff the fish then bake in the oven, but the herbs etc were unfamiliar to me, the lady on the veg stall outside Rainbow Resort (Pigeon Point junction) was great, she told me which ingredients would taste best and how long to cook the fish - which tasted amazing.
