Hello Geoff

No, the Pelican Reef is closed until further notice. My information is that the premises had been sold, but the sale subsequently fell through and the original owner reclaimed the property. However, his intentions aren't clear and given the current market conditions, it is unlikely that the restaurant is likely to open in the near future. Pity, because whilst my experiences there were never brilliant, it had a very convenient location for visitors staying in the Crown Point area.

Hi Steve
Thanks for your very fast reply, its a shame about the place being closed, we ate there on several occasions when we were there two years ago. We are gonig to Tobago in two weeks time and will have to find somewhere as good.
Regards
Geoff

Geoff,

try Toucan Inn / Bonkers instead.
They offer good quality food, more reasonable prices than in the past and a nice athmosphere.
Good value for your money.

Seasons Greetings from Trinidad,

Andy
