Working Vacation in Tobago

My husband expects to travel to Tobago on business in mid-August. The work site will be near Studley Park. I'm looking forward to tagging along on this trip.:D I've looked at the maps and accomodations, but I'm unsure about which properties will be convenient to his work site. I would prefer a cottage with a pool, but I'm a little concerned about security since I'll be alone during working hours. Would a hotel be more secure?
I would appreciate any recommendations on lodging for our trip. Thanks.

Hello Cindy

Welcome aboard! :D

Click on the Accommodation link in the menu bar above, then click on the 'Location' tab at the top or bottom of the accommodation pages. You will see a map of Tobago, divided up into the districts we use for search and analysis purposes.

Studley Park is located on the Atlantic Coast in district 36. If you click on this, you will see that we no of no accommodation in that area. You will find a couple of properties in region 35 (Goodwood/Montrose). Depending upon budget and preference, the Coccorico Guest House could be a possibility for you because the owners live on the premises and you would feel much more comfortable.

The only property in region 37 closed this month (Beachcomber Cabins), but area 41 Bacolet offers lots of choice - including the Blue Haven Hotel if you want top of the tree.

Hi Cindy

I am advised that the Beachcomber Cabins are now available for long term rentals. You might therefore like to have a look at www.beachcombercabins.com.
