Stay at Coco Reef?

Postby Candi Ccp » Thu Dec 15, 2005 2:23 am

Hi-I like what I have read about Coco Reef, and am considering a stay there in Feb, 2006. However, I am a big fan of waterskiing. I know the hotel does not offer this activity, but I am wondering if anyone knows if it is offered by a vendor nearby. If so, how close by and what do they charge? Is the water in Tobago that gorgeous turquoise? Thanks for any help. Candi

Hi Candi

Welcome aboard!

I believe that World of Watersports - http://www.worldofwatersports.com - offer water-skiing and almost certainly conduct this from their Pigeon Point depot, very near to the Coco Reef. You'll need to contact them for charges.

Yes, the seas around Tobago are most certainly a gorgeous turquoise. Have a look at our aerial photos in the Miscellaneous menu.

There is also a new operator offering waterskiing and wakeboarding - his name is Greg and you can contact him on telephone number (868) 786 8213. He will pick you up with his boat direct from the beach at Coco Reef.
The guys at the hotel dive shop know him well and would also be happy to put you in contact with him.

Happy Skiing!

Hi Rachel

Long time no speak!

Have you any other information about this Greg - such as his trading name, etc. I'll add him to the watersports article. What other services does he offer?
