advise or help needed

Postby Tony Ennis » Sat Dec 09, 2006 2:52 pm

After months of planning and great anticipation unfortunately my wife and kids had to fly out last week without me due to unforeseen work commitments. I am now free to fly out and have explored every possibility of getting to tobago but it would seem that the monday BA flight is the only option available before the aggro of the travelling time involved renders the trip unworkable.
My question to any of you regular travellers is can there be anyway of minimising the cost by for example waiting for the last minute to book. I get the impression there are plenty of seats available. Any advise would be very helpful. i must reiterate I have explored all other ways of getting there by all alternative routes and they are either booked or involve overnight stays at airports which I do not wish to do.

Hi Tony

Life can be a bitch!

I'm afraid I have no experience of this myself, but hopefully somebody else can offer some advice.

Tony,

phone BA and explain the situation - They are normally good at advising you on what is the best way to get their cheapest fares.

Good luck [-o<

Tony,

Martinair flies from Amsterdam to Crown Point every Tuesday. I made a flight search in ebookers.fi and found out that there might be room next Tuesday and the price was quite reasonable (EUR 917 Hel-Tab-Hel including all taxes). So my advise is to call KLM or Martinair directly. Good luck!
