Half Moon Blue in 07

Postby Julian B. » Wed Nov 01, 2006 3:25 pm

We're looking forward to our first trip to Tobago in 2007 and staying in a Junior Penthouse suite at The Half Moon Blue. Does anyone have any recent comments on the hotel.....hope we've done the right thing, as noticed Steve's remarks from a while back!?

Hi Julian

For some reason, we receive remarkably little comment on the Half Moon Blue. I spoke to someone who stayed there recently and he was ambivalent about the place. On a personal front, I tried to telephone a guest who was staying there a few months ago and was disgusted with the unhelpfulness of the staff. It therefore did not surprise me that neither my message nor my email sent to the guest via the hotel were passed to him.

Oh Steve,Scarborough is a wonderful vibrant city, but sadly at night nothing but bars.
Bacolet to me is a bit to developed and the 'beach'isn't really a beach.Steve is right when he says the sea is a little rough(even tho' that's an understatement!)

Vibrant - yes, especially around the market. City - I don't think so!

Ok, but it is the capitol of Tobago so it should be a city.....albeit it only has a population of about 5000(excluding the adjacent urban areas).
