All we need then is a fresh mahi mahi or two, preferably caught by one of us, a 'barbie', some stags/caribs - take your pick but I'll go for a mans beer and a few rums to round it all off. name the night

Well I have to admit that Janette and I are not big drinkers but a bit of fresh mahi mahi and a few beers is very tempting.

Carole, I'll have a word with the good lady wife and see if she fancies a trip down to Sunday School. Have been a couple of times. What is it that attracts you, the pan bands or the getting-down-dirty-all-night-wining? We used to be lovers of all-night dancing but sadly, with the onset of middle age, it's hard to find the energy these days. But Sunday School is definitely an experience not to be missed.

Well I don't really know what attracts me as I've never been, I might hate it! But yes the music and the experience I guess, I'm not a big drinker myself either, but my boyfriend can be known to knock it back on occasions!
Counting the days till January 17th!

Have a fantastic time, David.............I am sooooooo envious.
Please remember us to Sharon (Mel, Matt and the two blonde girls Bella and Millie who stayed at Youngs in May) She looked after us so well and allowed us to 'borrow' her dog Tiger for the week!!

Look forward to hearing all about it when you get back

As David is not online today I have taken it upon myself to say that he has (hopefully) just taken off from Gatwick and is now headed West away from this dreary and damp weather. Let's hope that we hear from him soon.

Thanks for that Tony.
Maybe when you go out in six weeks time you may be able to pass on my best to Sharon and give Tiger a hug. :)

When I woke to the sound of lashing rain it momentarity reminded me of the amazing rain in Tobago - then I looked out of the window and it was dark grey and miserable and the rain was bouncing off the dirty street, not lush and green with the rain bouncing off beautiful palm leaves!

VS 51 took off from Gatwick twelve minutes late, at 09:07, and is estimated to arrive at the Crown Point gate six minutes late, at 13:56 (local time), where it's 16 degrees C warmer! Information from the very excellent Flightstats: http://www.flightstats.com

Golly, this is almost as exciting as tracking Santa on Christmas Eve on the Norad site. I wonder when the jolly fat man will arrive.

Steph,

You know better than that. Our Jolly visitor is going to want a little R & R (Rotis & Rum) after his long flight

Well maybe I have a mild case of OCD - a place for everything and everything in it's place - I just happened to notice an E out of place here and felt that David needed reminding.

I though it was even david who started calling you "noe"... think he needed reminding, too... but on the other hand, don't forget that he is operating on his holiday brain now...
