Bon Accord

Hi,
I was advised to book Crown Point Beach Hotel, unfortunaly there is no accommodation availability for
our requested period 22nd. February - 4th. March, 2009.
We are 2 adults and one 7 years old child and I am not sure if it´s better to live in a villa or a hotel.
Wonder if Bon Accord area could be something for us.
Please advise

Hello Rositsa

Welcome aboard! :D

It is entirely a matter of personal preference whether you would prefer a hotel to a rental property. To be honest, a villa would be an expensive way to do it with just two adults and a child - but it can make great economic sense for a larger family or party of 6 to 8 people. There are various small hotels and guest houses in the Crown Point area. No single place is right for everyone, so I can only suggest that you work your way through our accommodation listings and contact all properties that look suitable.

Good luck in your search.

Hello Rositsa,I think you may have left it a little late to book as the period you want is over Carnival week. You could contact Yes Tourism at www.yes-tourism.com and see if they can help.

Hello Rositsa,
David is correct, that the period you are planning is one of the heaviest booked times for Tobago, since Carnival falls on February 24 & 25 this year. Many Trinidadians come over from Trinidad for the Carnival period to get away at that time, and many overseas visitors who come to Trinidad for Carnival will go on to Tobago afterwards to rest, relax and recuperate. So you may have a limited set of choices.

Another bet is for you to contact the real estate agencies in Tobago, as they manage a number of rental accommodations. They would be able to tell you immediately whether they have any suitable property available for that period. But if you are looking for economy accommodations in one of a small/medium guest houses in the Bon Accord/Crown Point area, then you would have to contact each individually.
Hope this helps.
