transit hotel in Trinidad

Does anyone know of the best place to stay when transiting in Trinidad on my way to Tobago? We will arrive at 10:30 pm at the POS airport and catch an early flight to Tobago, and want to stay near the airport. I have read terrible things about the Bel Air. Is there anywhere else close by that is better and reasonably priced?

The White Dove Guest House in nearby Tunapuna (8 minutes) is a good option. We arrived late in the evening and had to leave early in the morning a week later. Both times we stayed here.
The 4 rooms are very big, satellite TV, hot water, enourmous shared kitchen and living room and very friendly staff.
The rooms are US$60, but they will pick you up from and drop you off at the airport. That saves you US$30 for a taxi to or from Port of Spain (the taxi price between 22.00 and 06.00). Just call them to say when you arrive.
