Need review of Hummingbird Hotel

Has anyone stayed there? Could you give me your views on
-proximity to the beach
-condition of the rooms
-facilities at the hotel
-overall impression of the establishment

Don't take too much notice of Roel's comments - he's still suffering the effects of too much Advocat after staving off the Germans in Euro 2004 last week.
Hummingbird Heights is an excellent choice if you're looking for a single apartment near Scarborough. However, it is not the Hummingbird Hotel, in Store Bay Road, Crown Point.
I haven't visited the Hummingbird Hotel, so can't comment on the condition of the rooms and facilities at the hotel. However, all reports that I've heard have been very positive and I think the two families that own the hotel make guests very welcome. It is around a 15 minute walk to Store Bay from the Hummingbird.
