BWI Flights

Hello from a new user!

My fiancee and I are going to Tobago four weeks today - Monday 5th September, flying from Heathrow.

We are travelling with The Travel Collection, staying at the Inn on the Bay.

We originally tried to book this trip at the end of June, but were told that the flight was full - although there was room at the Inn (so to speak!) no seats were available on the flight.

They then offered us flights on the preceding Saturday - 3rd - which at the time wouldn't have worked for us due to other commitments on the Friday.

Subsequently we managed to amend our outside schedules, so the 3rd became viable again. On contacting The Travel Collection, I found that, after all, the 5th is available - but we are routed via Barbados, and change in Barbados onto a Leeward Islands Air flight to Tobago.

On looking at flight schedules, it seems that the flight we get to Barbados goes on to Trinidad and then on again to Tobago, arriving in Tobago a mere 20 minutes bfeore we arrive via LIA.

All I can guess is that the flight picks up enough passengers at
Barbados and Trinidad to mean that we can't stay aboard, hence the change. Seems curious though!

So, anyway,we're going......does anybody know if our luggage will be 'through checked' or will we have to collect it at barbados and check in again for the onward flight?

Hi Stuart

Welcome aboard!

I'm not familiar with the routing, so can only guess - but my bet is that you'll have to collect your baggage in Barbados and then re-check in on the LIAT flight. I could well be wrong though. Personally, I think your best bet is to ask Kuoni.
