After trawling the sites for alternative accommodation, as my first choice was already booked, I stumbled across Moonlight Mountain and I'm so glad I did. The property was a -pleasant surprise and I am glad I took a chance. The views are truly spectacular from every single room (I stayed in both the apartment and upstairs room) and the property benefits from natutral cooling breezes and surprsngly few mosquitoes.

Lucky the dog does his work very dilligently and is ever alert.

Kelly was exteremely hospitable, friendly and knowledgeable about the Island, a great source of information and advice, as well as a really lovely person, who taught me something I will forever carry with me. Live hour by hour!

Breakfast was VERY good, flying fish, salad, advocado, fruit salad, toast, eggs, fresh juice, tea, coffee. Represents very good value.

An excellent base to explore Tobago, just take heed, the road to the property is in disrepair, so you will need a sturdy vehicle or a 4WD for the journey!

We didn't arrange anything coming to magical Tobago. But I remembered one name of a guesthouse and had written down the number in our journal before we left. Our carrental did not know about the place, but we still made the call. And without regrets! Once we've lead our car upon the hill, we found a warm welcome by Kelly and Ginny and dog Lucky. This peacefull welcoming place had a room for us as big as our house back home! With a lovely veranda, nice sunbeds and a pool, overlooking Scarborough and the atlantic ocean. And when we looked the other way you can see the Caribian Sea. Amazing. It felt so good right away, and we decided to stay for 5 days. The room has a nice kitchen and a really good shower and a comfortable big bed. The place is situated in the middle of the island and gives you a perfect startpoint to explore the island.

Ginny introduced us into yoga which she did so well, we started taking yoga-classes back home. With her 40+years of experience we feel blessed we met yoga through her.

Kelly made a delicious fresh breakfast every morning, with fresh veggies from his garden. And Lucky watched over us during the night.

They are lovely people and it's a wonderful, peaceful and remote place to enjoy Tobago.

Moonlight mountain resort is a beautifully located spot with a gorgeous view over Scarborough and the sea.

The sundeck with pool, surrounded by flowers, and the big jungle garden in the back with fresh fruits and avocado's are a real treat, just as the huge and delicious breakfast served every morning by Kelly, the husband of the owner Ginny. They are both sweet and welcoming people that assist you wherever they can.

I originally planned to stay there for one week, but ended up staying for another. Nowhere on the island I could find such a cosy decorated and spacious room for that good a price.

Besides the quiet and relaxed environment there is Ginny that teaches yoga. With 40 years of experience she's is the best teacher you can get. You'll find yourself doing things you'd never think you could do.

Thank you so much for all the care and love you have for us, the stay at the house with my family was truly an unforgettable experience, my grandparents could not stop talking on the ferry on how great the food, the service, the place and the cool ambiance was! They're already back home but planning to come back and stay at Ginny's and Kelly's house! I honestly recommend it for anyone who wants an unforgettable family getaway.
