Seaside Garden - Reader Reports & Opinion

We stayed at the Seaside Garden for 6 nights, and are really happy with our stay. The location close to Bucco beach, and boats to Bucco reef - and in the midst of Sunday school - is great. The room we stayed in was clean and cool, the kitchen utilities very good, and the warmth and helpfulness of Sheldon, the manager, was extraordinary!

I first found out about this guest house from reading reports like these on this website. I must say the reports and ratings were accurate. I went with my family from Trinidad to the Seaside Garden and was completely satisfied with the experience. There was definitely a homey and lush garden feel to the place. The sound of birds and crashing waves while sitting on the veranda was refreshing, and the manager Sheldon made sure to meet your every need and more (arrangements for transport, local food and activities).
Also, the location was easily accessible and the beach was a few feet away. I collected shells on the shore and even went snorkeling. Loads of fun. I'll definitely be back.

First of all, I am hesitant to write a review. I don't want anyone to know what a truly spectacular time we had at Seaside Garden in Buccoo Bay because I don't want the rest of the world to rush there and sully its beauty. At the same time, I want to shout it from the rooftops; a vacation like this has to be experienced by others!
Suffice it to say, no one who visits Seaside Garden Guesthouse will be disappointed. The rooms are, as the infamous Lonely Planet describes, "meticulously cared-for". The kitchen has every knick-knack necessary in whipping up culinary works of art. The beds are equipped with mosquito nets which cast a romantic and bug-free light on the sleeping quarters. There is also a terra cotta-tile balcony overlooking the bay, ensconced in flower-draped vines and trees bearing fruit and lizards alike.
From here, tours may be set up to Pigeon Point, Buccoo Reef, and many other nearby sights. The friendly and knowledgeable staff will make it easy for you to have the time of your life. My family and I found it hard to leave and have since discussed the soonest we may all return.

My stay at The Seaside Garden was the most incredible experience I've ever had! Thanks to Sheldon and the wonderful service he provided. He knows exactly everything you need and then provides the time and effort to see that you get it.
The apartment was clean and decorated very comfortably. It had a beautiful balcony overlooking the bay . We ate most of our meals out there.
The kitchen is furnished with everything you need to make your meals, but we chose to try something new each day. Sheldon always knew where to send us or who could prepare our food in an authentic Tobago way. Crab n Dumplings....umm umm good!
Buccoo Bay was my favorite for swimming,as well as Pirates Bay.Nice places to walk and swim.
Well, this is my 3rd try to send this report. I really want the folks at Seaside to know how much I appreciated the vacation. I left home a bit sad and stressed, but I returned refreshed and renewed. I'll be back to this place for sure! I would highly recommend the Seaside Garden.

We enjoyed our stay at Seaside Garden very much, especially since Sheldon took wonderful care of us, helped us to think about things to do, to eat and organised all kind of transport etc. His massages were also wonderful! We felt at home.
