Donna and I were quite happy with our stay at Bamboo Walk.

The staff, owners, facilities and access to other activities were very acceptable. We missed the Friday evening special

during our stab but went back another time and were well

entertained. We were also very pleased that the girls of

YES TOBAGO were located at the Bamboo Walk and they gave us great advice and assistance whenever we needed.

Also during our stay we met Steve and Gill the brains behind

MY TOBAGO. Wonderful folks and thanks to them we have this forum to help us make our vacations to Tobago so great.

Thanks to all. We were so fortunate to meet many great folks.

I enjoyed the Karioke/BBQ night very much and the staff was excellent! The food and drinks were reasonably priced. The rooms could have been more classy and private. The staff quarters needs to be not so close to rooms. Will come again though.

A big, big disappointment!

"MyTobago" writes that the hotel was built in 2008, totally wrong. The new owners took over the hotel in 2006 and "renovated" it, which we saw no results of..No smile and no " welcome " when we arrived, and a dirty hotelroom and bath met us. The woman who guided us to the room saw how dirty the mirror on the bathroom and the sink were, and cleaned off immediately. The shelves under the TV and for the bedside table we wahed ourselves,- very dusty.

The karaokee Friday night did not stop 11 o`clock pm as announsed, it did not stop before 2 am, and the noise was very loud! The managediretor compensed that for us with a free dinner at the restaurant.

The house-keeping was every day until 15 o`clock pm, but if we did not left the room before 14 o`clock pm, they did not do any housekeeping, even we told them that we have to stay in the room to 14 o `clock because of migraine...we experienced this twice.

The curtains were very transparente, and with a surveillance light outside the room, we did not get any dark night....

The bathroom was very dirty ! And the employees had their home next to our bathroom, and we had noises , meal-making and speaking from them all the day, as the "windows" had to be open...

The internet-presentation was totally wrong, and the pictures were taken by wide-angel lense, the room was less, less smaller than the image from the pictures.

We will not at all recommend other tourists to stay at Bamboo Walk Hotel.

We changed hotel after 10 days, and regret that we believed the presantations and had big expectations..

We needed to relax and have a comfortable stay, which we did not have. Sad.

A stay is cheap, but is not worth the money :o(

This place is truly cozy and welcoming excellent for newlyweds and couples. The bungalows are spaced apart and the restaurant is in the middle. The garden is well manicured, pool although small not filled with people as most time only couples used it.The food at the restaurant was tasty, I must say if you are big eaters order for two as the portions are small, fortunately I am not a big eater. The area seem safe and no touts harassing you to go on tours etc.The room (deluxe) I stayed in was near to a fence with horses and it was nice to rock in the hammock and watch the horses grazing. The staff was welcoming and very pleasant all of them seem to be from the Phillipines but speaking english very well.We only stayed one night and will surely be back for a longer trip.

The Bamboo Walk Hotel was just the right place for me and my lovely wife. As newly weds we wanted some where quiet, comfortable and excellent food. Bamboo Walk Hotel offered all that and more - with friendly staff and people friendly management.

I was able to approach the owners about a minor encounter and they were so easy to approach and deal with the situation speedily. Me and my wife were served a complementary dinner on the first night as we were asked to choose anything on the menu. We were also given a discount off for our stay as we were newly weds.

I loved my stay at Bamboo Walk Hotel. I had one major problem though - my stay was too short.
