My friends and I stayed at this hotel for the great race weekend and it was wonderful, hotel staff as well as the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The surroundings where very clean, not forgetting there karaoke night it was good. Only two minor problems, they only have refrigerators in there superior room which i find should of been in all, and there where no irons and you were not allowed to bring any electronics items, but other than that it was a good stay and I'm looking forward to visit there for the Easter weekend. keep up the good work Bamboo Walk Hotel.

Based on others' reviews on this site, I had great expectations of Bamboo Walk. For the price, it is a whole lot cleaner, safer, more private, cozier, better maintained than other places offering a similar rate in Tobago. However, the bed was very firm, and my superior room did not have a hammock :( because the hook on the ceiling broke off. There's no huge WOW factor here, just a reliable place to rest your head.

My husband and I stayed at the 'hotel' for two nights. I think that it should not be called a hotel but a guesthouse.
If you are ok with having the BARE minimum its great. The room was ok but I did not like the bathroom as the way its made caused water to spill all over the floor when bathing. We made the reservation and when I went to check in I was told that there was a $300 caution fe. I wish they told me this when I made the reservation so I would have had the money on hand. Thankfully it was taken out of my credit card, eventually.
I had to upgrade to another room as the room I was put in initially did not have a fridge-again something that I was not aware of when making the reservation.
The staff are friendly for the most part, but I had difficulty with some due to language barriers.
Although I am from Tobago I live in Trinidad, and was there for a wedding. I asked for an iron and ironing board, and ended up ironing on a table in the room (the standard rooms do not have a table btw) as either they dont have iroining boards or they did not understand what I was asking for.
The floors are not carpeted, and the bathroom that I was upgraded to was in need of bleach and a scrubbing.
Apart from all that its ok for a guesthouse. This is not a hotel in my opinion.

We were there just for 2 nights on the recommendation of my brother who stayed there in December. For the most part we were satisfied. The standard room was clean and offered the basic amenities. We were a little disappointed with certain things - such as lack of a coffee maker and/or microwave in the room - as well as the decor of the room could have been better. It was very much plain and the lack of cupboard doors in the room took away from it as well. Nonetheless, these things were tolerable. The general ambiance was good, staff were friendly and polite. We would stay there again.

We stayed at the bamboo walk hotel for 3 weeks and it was one of the best holiday we have ever had. The Hotel was small but just what we wanted. It was everything the write up said and more..... The staff at this hotel are simply the best and made us feel like one of the family. We were so sad to leave.
The food and drinks at the bar where just great and the service second to none.
I recomend this hotel to anyone and cannot wait to go back again.
Thanks again to Patrick & Jennifer and all you guys that made our holiday one that we will always remember.
