
Lesser Yellowlegs (Tringa flavipes)
This Sandpiper breeds on the artic tundra during summer months migrating throughout the America's and the
Caribbean during the winter. One of the larger Sandpipers the Lesser Yellowlegs diets on fish, mollusks, and small
crustaceans. Yellowlegs often form flocks of up to 30 birds, and will readily associate with their smaller cousins.
