Details of the Privacy policies operated by the authors of this website
We are firmly committed to your privacy and the protection of your information. These policies relate to all information collected about you, whether through direct email or through on-line credit card payment or other forms on the myTobago website. It also applies to Tobago businesses who may have received direct communication from us.
How we protect your privacy
We use security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data used by our system.
Accommodation Enquiry Service & Accommodation Reports
Accommodation enquiries and reader reports entered through the forms in our accommodation section are logged in a secure database. Enquiries will ONLY be sent to the property/business shown. Under no circumstances will details of individual enquiries be made available to any third party. We reserve the right to send follow-up emails to users of the system. For example, we may wish to check whether enquiries were replied to in a timely/satisfactory manner, or ask you to post a visitor report if you placed a reservation at the property. In the case of visitor reports, we may wish to validate your report or ask for further information. However, we guarantee that all such mailings will be kept to the absolute minimum and will NOT be of a 'sales' or 'marketing' nature.
Credit/Debit Card Donations
Donations to myTobago (including competition ticket donations) made using the payment forms on our site utilise completely secure SSL server technology. All credit card information is encrypted by your computer and passed directly to the card processing service for onward approval by the issuing bank. No card information (other than your name and address) is passed to us.
Sharing and Usage
We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to the authors of the site for purposes of contacting you, or sending you emails based on your request for information.
How can you stop receiving email from us?
Tobago business managers may receive occasional newsletters from myTobago. Managers who do not wish to receive such messages should simply send an email to the authors requesting that we remove their name from our mailing list.
