The Mount Irvine Bay Hotel & Golf Club offered the leading accommodation on the island for the best part of 25 years. Sadly a change of ownership and policy has resulted in the steady demise of the island's best hotel.

The old Colonial style of the hotel will not suite everyone. The biggest problem is an apparent constant reduction in service levels (such as the closure or limited opening of some of the hotel's restaurants and bars). Occupancy levels are so low that you are likely to have the hotel to yourself. This creates a very strange atmosphere that many will find unsettling. For these reasons, we feel unable to include the hotel in our 'Recommended' list any longer.

Adjoining the hotel our golf course is considered by many world-class golfers to be one of the finest in the Caribbean. built on land, which rises in natural terraces from the sea, this 18 hole golf course covers 127 acres and offers intermittent views of the sparkling Caribbean Sea between the lush bamboo and waving palm trees.

At Mount Irvine Bay Hotel we combine all the amenities of world-class accommodation in a tropical Caribbean setting. Our accommodation consists of fully appointed Superior and elegant DeLuxe Suites in the main building as well as Garden Cottage rooms on the hotel grounds.
