I booked my stay for 6 days after viewing on the Internet. The place was a mess and the utensils were old and rusty even the microwave was rusty. I got a viral illness from a mosquito bite whilst staying there and spent 4 days sick in bed.
For the cost i expected an upscale apartment only to find the loft i had booked turned out to be a total dump. Since then I have been to many other guest houses that are cleaner and cheaper. This was the worst place I have ever stayed in Tobago it's best to stay with the locals who are from the island.

Please get a contract in hand before you pay . be aware for management and verbal contract has no status . my wife was told one thing before we got to tobago and when we got there it was a nightmare . PLEASE BE AWARE of contract and mosquitoes.

It was our first stay at the facility. My husband and I wanted to try somewhere new and found the info on Bananaquit on the Internet. We checked in and left because of our level of dissatisfaction.
What I Did Not Like:
1.The place was generally dumpy
2.There was no record of our reservation
3.The room had a stuffy, slightly offensive scent
4.There was a big hullabaloo about not checking in before the check in time
What I Liked:
The owner allowed us to check in early
Suggestions for Improvement:
1.Reservation records are very important and there is no room for error here.
2.Tidy up the general environment e.g. the garbage under the staircase.
3.A room with a clean, fresh scent gives the visitor the initial comfort that the place is clean.
4.If space is available, as far as possible, try to accommodate visitors. If you cannot facilitate an early check in, then say so with class – a lot of time it is not what is said but how it is said that matters.
5.Window dressing that matches the room décor will lift the ambiance of the room

After staying at the cottage for 3 days with a group of my friends, I would definitely recommend it to interested groups. The staff was extremely cooperative and friendly. The rooms were all very quaint, clean and comfortable and the location could not have been more convenient- walking distance to Store bay and directly opposite to car rental stores and food outlets.
Overall- a comfortable stay!
