From the minute we landed to the day we left, Joan and Fenbar were amazing hosts! They even took us for a little tour of the island which we loved.
The cottage is a very cute 2 bedroom nestled on the hillside amongst the locals (super friendly!). We really felt we were experiencing the "true Tobago". We sat and bird watched every morning. Our maid Annetta is a wonderful lady. Always so accommodating and a very thorough housekeeper.
If you don't mind walking up and down a bit of hill to get to town and beach, then this is the place for you!

Dear Tamara and Kris,
Thank you so much for the lovely holiday and all your help to plan and finally get there. It could not have been more easy from pick up to departure . The villa was perfect and what a view. I was entranced by the birds at sun rise in the garden with my morning cuppa. It was perfect for the relaxing holiday we had hoped for... but that hill!
Best wishes and good luck for future bookings..people will enjoy the home from home experience living among the local community. I particularly enjoyed the lovely young dog that adopted us for the week as Kris said it would. Think she lived next door really.
Any way once again many thanks

Our stay at Castara Bay Eco-Villa was great! It was a pleasant experience from the start of planning the stay at this beautiful home. Tamara responded to emails quickly and communication throughout our trip was pleasant, and arrangements for pick-up and return to the port made it worry-free. Kris, our liaison, was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, personable, and determined. He stopped at the grocery store so we could buy food before arriving in Castara. He worked hard to find us a rental car. In addition to the wonderful people, the house and grounds were beautiful. Annetta, the caretaker, was also quick to respond to questions and concerns. We would stay at this property again.

Let me state frankly i was very pleased to read all the wonderful reports about 'Castara Eco-Villa', however i am very disappointed & extremely dissatified from Mr. Sebro lack of professionalism. I had made arrangements with him via telephone & he confirmed that his villa for available for the time period that I requested, however when I paid via Western Union( i was charged a fee of $114 tt to send the money to him)in Trinidad for the two nights that I requested, he later told me via telephone that he rented out the villa to someone previously. I will not book this place gain in the future nor will I recommend anyone else to book this place. Also I booked my boat tickets already & when I heard what he said i had to send over a dozen emails to get another place at short notice!!!
