Our stay at the Tobago Beach Villas, Hawkbill, during late November was such a pleasant experince, we use the memory of it to bring warmth to our frigid January days in Connecticut. All aspects of the villas are positive. The location is convenient, removed from busy roads, but not too distant from the airport and shopping. The beach is a just a short walk.
We stayed at Hawksbill, which is exquistely beautiful and peaceful, situated above the other villas and the sea. The plentiful windows and bedroom balconies allow for the enjoyment of seabreeze and sunshine. It's open design makes a nice connection to the well maintained patio and pool area and is a natural for entertaining. Bird watching at mealtime was a plus!
The house is well appointed for personal activities, including cooking and serving meals. The dining table was graced by a large boquet of fresh flowers at our arrival. The villas are well attended by staff, housekeeping during the days and security at night - overall the staff is friendly and responsive.
We hope that we have the opportunity to visit Tobago Beach Villas again.

This villa was just wonderful. I wished I could have stayed longer.
My 3 friends and I totally enjoyed ourselves and Liz was so welcoming. As we drove into the driveway a big smile came upon her face and we felt welcomed right away.
Everything was well kept and we were in need of nothing. The beach is a mere 1 minute away. (By the way Stone Haven Bay is officially my favourite beach so far).
There is nothing here to disappoint I will gladly recommend to other as a matter of fact I already have.
Thank you Liz for making our stay very comfortable and extremely enjoyable. We will be back very soon.

Our third trip to Tobago, this time with three additional adult family members. We chose Hawksbill House because of it’s close proximity to the beach and having it’s own pool.
The Villa was certainly adequate for our needs and the five of us did not feel ‘on top of each other’ with enough space in and around the Villa to relax. The pool was an ideal place to cool off and was large enough for the five of us at one time!
Grafton Beach which is superb, is a two minute walk which was ideal for late night turtle watching and of course during the day meant that we could all come and go as we pleased. For those less able, please be aware that it is a steep walk to and from the beach.
The Villa is bright and tidy, the second and twin bedrooms having the best en-suites. The master bedroom en-suite is somewhat smaller and in need of some attention. The showers in the Villa are excellent - very powerful.
Two bar restaurants within easy walking distance together with a pricey restaurant (which we didn't use) small local shops a bit further away for basic needs. In our opinion a car really is essential for not only seeing the Island but for stocking up on groceries further a field.
For a quiet, relaxing family holiday we would certainly recommend and return.

My group of six stayed at Hawksbill House for two weeks in February and I would highly recommend it to others.
The villa itself was lovely - very comfortable (even allowing us to keep up with English football matches on one of the many TV channels!) and kept very clean and tidy by the charming staff.
For us, it was also a great location. It's peaceful (up a steep hill with little traffic) and less than 100 yards from a lovely beach (with nice beach bar that serves great food, as well as incredibly potent rum cocktails!)
Others might find the location a bit quiet. There are a small number of restaurants and the odd bar within walking distance. Otherwise, it's pretty quiet. But that suited us - we found Tobago to be a great daytime place, but were more than happy to be in the comfort of the villa in the evening.
All in all, highly recommended.

I walked into Hawkeye, and felt that if there was anything that it was lacking, I couldn't imagine what it would have been. It was absolutely lovely. The setting, the view, the accomadations; perfect.
I woke every morning and just stood looking out over the the plants and trees to the waves rolling onto the beach and said this is paradise! I hope to return next year.
