The guesthouse is very comfortable with a great veranda, situated in a green garden and near of two beaches. The owners (a German and his wife from Tobago) are very helpfull and will give you information of a lot of interesting things and excursions. Don't miss an "event-cooking" with their son in your kitchen. Be prepared with your camera at breakfast to make pictures of two Mot-Mots in the flowers.

We stayed in Jemas Guesthouse in January / February 2008. It is a real lovely place. The Guesthouse is very nice furnished, clean and very comfortable, everything you need, you will find there. There is a big veranda in front where you can relax very well with a nice view to the garden. When we had a special wish, the crew of Jemas Guesthouse, Ashaki, Garreth and Kelly, help us where they can. When you don´t want to cook on your own or you want to taste special local food of Tobago you can order a cook - Garreth- and you will get the most fresh and best food on the whole island!
You just have one minute to walk to reach the beautiful beach. Also the other beaches around you can reach by a few minute walk. Black Rock is very good located. You reach all important places very good.If you want to travel around the island by motorcycle or car, you can reach every point of the island from there. In Black Rock you get your daily needed things in supermarkets or little shops. The people are very friendly and you feel welcome.
When we come again to Tobago, we will come back to Jemas Guesthouse - for sure!
Thanks a lot for this beautiful time we had!

If you are looking for a place to stay that is off the beaten track, totally relaxing, then this is the place. 1 minute away from the local grocery store, 1 minute away from the beach. No comparison between this house and the local hotel. We have stayed here for the past few years and would not consider staying anywhere else. Garreth, the caretaker, has become our personal friend, and could quite honestly be one of the best chefs on the island. Jema's is our "home away from home". If you are interested in experiencing Tobago living as it was meant to be, then consider Jema's guesthouse. We could not imagine a better place to stay! Shane Lehman
